The foundation of Islam lies in adherents' sacrifices to worship Allah by following the example of Prophet Muhammad. The principal belief of Tawhid reinforces the submission to Allah as the one God of Islam, and hence their fulfilling an authentic Muslim life. Muslims central way of submission is through the Five Pillars, in particular Salat and Sawm, which Prophet Muhammad exemplified throughout his lifetime.With adherents following the example of Prophet Muhammad, documented in the Qu’ran and Hadith, they are able to say that everything they do is for Allah, as he is the “Lord of the worlds.” according …show more content…

The Quran suggests that those who are struggling can ‘seek help through patience and prayer. Indeed, Allah is with the patient,’ (Surah 2:153). This highlights that those adherents who dedicate time to being attuned with themselves and their natural surroundings through Salat will be brought closer to Allah, for he is with the patient. Salat is lived out by Prophet Muhammad during the Laylatul-Qadr, the night where Angel Jibril first revealed the Qur’an to Muhammad.
