1. God communicates in many ways. God uses revelation to make himself know to us humans through his act in the written word which are His actions. The bible is the foremost authority of God revelation, making himself know to humans. The objective for all this is that humanity can know God’s Will, way and ultimately His love for all humankind not only Israel but also the entire world. The ultimate pinnacle of God’s revelation is the coming of Jesus Christ the LORD and savior.
The bible is God’s revelation to humankind to his creation humans. The ways, which God has chosen to reveal himself, are through his words and actions. The results of source criticism in the O.T. and N.T are the four-source Pentateuch theory and two-source theory of Synoptic interrelationships. This implies that the Pentateuch (first five books of the bible) is the contribution of four different sources and the Gospel fro two major sources.
