From previous analyses, the ideology of Adventure Time regarding the male and female stereotype is continuously unfolding. But Adventure Time’s ideology can be seen more blatantly when taking into account the matriarchal setting of the show. The Land of Ooo is characterized by different kingdoms which are mostly run by princesses; the fewer ruled by kings and earls. Just by the numbers alone, it can be implied that the presumed ideology leans towards a more feminist idea. Further strengthening this presumption is the observation and evaluation of the different kingdoms ruled by the princesses and kings.
