I have a really tough time reading books. However, I really got into this book. I kept reading until I finished. I really enjoyed reading If I Stay. It kind of got me confused at moments like going back and forth, but I just re-read it over until I got it. I really enjoyed the challenge the book gave me. I believe this book is a super good book, and I would recommend people to read it. It really got me into the book when Mia found out that her mom and dad were dead. Were Adam and Mia dating in about the middle of the book? I’m kind of confused on how they crashed? During the book there was a lot of parts that got me intrigued. It was interesting that she was there at the hospital, but at the same time she was a ghost. I had some emotional moments during this book. Like when she said “I picture myself nuzzling his head one last time, and I can’t even imagine it without seeing myself crying.”(Forman Page 160). The reason this part had me …show more content…

I thought it would have been better if at least a family member stayed alive. I think it’s sad that she’s not going to have her family supporting her. To me, I feel that at least her brother, Teddy, should have stayed alive. A reason I think Teddy should've stayed alive was because she would have someone to set an example to. She would also have someone there for her, like someone she could talk to. Teddy her brother would have someone that would be there to take care of him. Without out a sibling, life isn’t the same for a teenager. I imagine having a younger brother would give mia a reason to live. On the other hand, her mom or dad she would have been more supportive. There are a lot of things Mia would be missing out on. For example, she is missing out on advice during an important time of life, she won’t have anyone cooking her food, and spending quality time with her family.It must be hard being without
