I am the first year undergraduate law student at Brunel University and am writing to apply for a work experience in immigration law with Smashy and Nicey LLP. While migrating from India to London, I feel strongly committed to helping people who are facing cultural inferiority complex. Having work experience at your law firm would allow me to pursue my commitment in practice, and I feel assured that I could contribute substantively to the work of your office while strengthening the abilities I will want for a career in immigration law.

Smashy and Nicey LLP are one of the long-established high street law firms who won Legal Aid Firm of the Year Award in 2016 and pleasures themselves as local expertise with a dedication to emphasize its ties with encompassing region. Moreover, your firm is also known for helping individuals in daily lives. Being a fundraiser I and my father, managed to raise £5000 for charities by Guinness world record of the largest Indian flag, painted by wooden blocks. Besides, working with educational charity organization Debate Mate makes me realize how helping people can make difference in society. In addition, representing local community by volunteering for Hounslow Council also taught me how small community can have an impact on wider society. Hence, getting an experience from a law firm who has same desire of helping people in society and is based locally is why I am particularly interested in your firm. …show more content…

Besides by having visited Old Bailey court already gave me deep insight into how courts operate and therefore getting a chance to take notes from court proceeding once again is what appeals me to have work experience from your outstanding law
