Throughout history many people have said stupendous things that has shaped the world for the greater good. Susan B. Anthony’s speech was an incredible, well thought out speech. It inspired and motivated women that they to needed the right to vote. That they needed to be treated as equally as american men. Another amazing speech that happened during the Civil war was a speech given by Colonel Joshua Lawrence Chamberlain during the three day Battle of Gettysburg.
Throughout history many people has made up speeches that was for the better. One person who made one of them speeches would be Martin Luther King jr’s speech, I had a dream. Another person who made a big speech was Colonel Joshua Chamberlain speech during the CIvil War. Chamberlain spoke this speech when he was talking to 120 mutineers about the war they were getting ready to go to war. The war had been going on for about 3 years and Joshua Chamberlain is in charge to lead the north to Gettysburg.
The importance of this speech was one of the most speeches in American history for the reason being if he did not write this speech we would not have gone to war, we would have stayed in the great depression for longer and the axis powers might have won World War

My speech that I am talking about today is called “ Give me Liberty, Give me death” by Patrick Henry. On march 23rd 1775 during a meeting Patrick Henry brief address closed with the incendiary line “give me liberty, give me death”.
