World War II was fought from 1939-1945. Pearl Harbor was a bombing that Japanese took on the U.S.. The Pearl Harbor was a important time in history and it changed the stability of the U.S..
Pearl Harbor was started by the Japanese and they planned to attack the U.S.The reason that Japan did what they did is because they thought that the U.S. Navy would be able to be destroyed quickly. Japan wanted to create a fortress that would spread across the pacific rim. The Naval base was in the way with what Japan’s plans were. Japan used the element of surprise to attack the U.S.. Japan Air Raided the U.S. and the effects of the Air Raid Japan sunk 12 of the U.S battleships. Since Japan did the attack on the U.S. Germany and Italy declared war on the U.S..Japan thought that the U.S. would accept defeat but the U.S. new that that they would fight till the end. Woman weren’t aloud to be in wars so after Pearl Harbor women had been seeing some change and they were starting to go into different roles ( Jobs).
