Culture is that complex as it consists of belief, knowledge, art, law, morals, customs, traditions and any other capabilities and habits which is acquired by man as a member of the society (Edward B. Tylor 1871). In other words, this is to say that, culture in its simple meaning can be the way of life of people. Culture embodies the constant creation of meaning, in particular, to render valid disordered experiences (illness, disasters, poverty) precisely into cultural experiences. (John Clammer 2012). In Nigeria, cultural beliefs are more valuable and accepted than anything else. In other words, the people are not giving room to development in order to improve the chaos some cultural beliefs have caused especially in health-related issues where culture has played a disastrous role to the detriment of humanity and the government happens to ignore the situation by not providing finance and adequate healthcare facilities. The cultural belief of people does not affect their health only but, every aspect of their existence which includes social relationships, and contribution to the societal functioning and disease condition. People who lives in a collective society are as well affected by what happens in their environment and how they react to it (Ojua Ishor & Ndom 2013).
