1, 2 Growing up in India, I was surrounded by a juxtaposition numerous elements of architectural style that inspired me and brought me onto the path of studying and designing architecture. India once boasted of a developed ancient architecture, while its modern architecture loses the characteristics of its indigenous culture. I hope to form a sort of architectural design conception with characteristics of India's traditional culture after extensively absorbing modern architectural theories and technologies. Extra As architects we are continually revamping the surface of the planet so it fits better to the way we need to live. I feel the need to become more than just a designer of three dimensional architectural objects, the need to become a designer of ecosystems, systems of both ecology and economy. The excellence of architecture is that it has the potential to move, while it stands still. I look for advancement and appreciation, the chance to make architecture move individuals. Christopher Wren once said, 'Architecture aims at eternity'. I feel there is no better approach to achieve eternity than to help create buildings of tomorrow that safeguard the ideas of today. Eventually, we are judged by what we leave behind. This is a world of ebola and isis and climate change and data security breaches also a world of really tremendous opportunity to make a really transformative change as many are doing through technology and design and industry and science. I want to be trained not just to expect to be society’s leader but also to be the most creative, daring and resilient problem
