The first chapter will present the current situation in the maritime goods transportation, especially operation handling in dry bulk port terminal. Due to a complexity of maritime goods transportation, the topic of the study will be limited, so that the studies are only focusing on main topics. The objectives and limitations of this thesis are described in chapter 1.2 and 1.3. In chapter 2, concepts from expertise, which are relevant to the topic of this thesis, are going to be presented to support the next chapter in this thesis. Fist, the fundamental of dry bulk port terminal is necessary to be explained to know the characteristic and the parameters that can be affected to operational handling in dry bulk port terminal.
