Question: Discuss the lives of the animals now that they live under Napoleon. In what ways has Napoleon proven himself a similar tyrant to Jones?
Opinion: The lives of the animals is the same even though they are being ruled by their own. A way in which Napoleon showed his similarities to Jones is how he makes the animals work for him as they are the working class when he relaxes all day.
Thesis: The animals’ lives has become even worse now that they live under Napoleon’s leadership, he proved himself to be similar to jones and many ways although the animals are extremely unworldly to see that. Body:

Comment: Napoleon developed into the being a similar oppressor to Jones slowly and did not go extreme. He slowly and cleverly became cruel to the animals as they trusted him as a dictator.
Point 2: Napoleon treats the animals as if they are worthless even though he is the same as them, this makes him even worse than Jones because Napoleon and the animals are the same kind whereas Jones and the animals are clearly human and animals.
Proof: He makes the animals work, “like slaves” (Orwell, p. 24) and makes them believe that they are doing it for themselves and the farm they, “Were happy in their work” (Orwell, p. 24).
Comment: The animals are happy at what Napoleon makes them do because they think that they are working for their benefit and when they fall deep into his power they know that is they rebel that equals the end of their life so they just go with anything he says.
Point 3: The animals work their hardest but they still don’t earn a break or a prize rather Napoleon’s luxury
