. The preferred learning styles guide the way a person learn. There are three main types of learning styles which are auditory, visual and kinesthetic. Employees with a visual learning style learn best by looking at pictures, diagrams, demonstrations or reading. It is easier for them to look at chart and graph and they may have difficulty to keep focus while listening to an explanation. Another principle of learning is individual differences. Employers need to recognize that every each people learn differently. Some individual can remember new information after hearing it only once but others may not. Most jobs and tasks can be broken down into parts that lend themselves to further analysis so the trainers should decide on how to transfer the process of learning. Part practice works best for tasks where the actions involve in one part do not impact the actions involved in the next part. The individual is not only required to learn each individual part but must be able to combine the separate parts so that the whole performance can be accomplished. Training and leadership development lead to increased productivity. The workers will gain more confidence within their tasks because their skills are developed. Training the employees can result in better work safety practices, better customer services and productivity improvements. Furthermore, training can increase job satisfaction among employees. Employees who are satisfied with his job and enjoy his work usually have less stress problems and the turnover rates of the company can be reduced.
Besides that, another benefit of training is keep workers’ skill and knowledge up-to-date. Nowadays, technology keep changing at rapid pace hence training provide the employees the chance to understand the latest developments and trends within the industry.
