Before the Industrial Revolution, economies and governments were based on agricultural and artisan crafts. People had to travel slower because the invention of railroads didn't exist at that point, and jobs were harder to obtain as well as maintain. The Industrial revolution provided a surplus of new job opportunities, economic opportunities, faster transportation systems, faster production of items, and new power sources.
Between the time of 1750-1900, the Industrial Revolution immensely prompted educational growth (docs 3, 4), economic benefits (docs 1,5,7), and the discovery of new different governing methods (docs 2,6) by states outside of Europe.

Furthermore, in document 4, books in China were a gateway to forming faster ways to accomplish energy-consuming tasks. They would jump-start the industrial revolution. The Industrial Revolution prompted complex thinking skills in order to advance their technology for everyday energy-draining tasks. The writer of the document, Feng Guifen, was an educated, sophisticated man. He was writing to the general public in order to inform them about his discoveries about how other countries were developing their education faster than they were. The Industrial Revolution also prompted economic benefits and growth in states outside of Europe in the time period circa 1700-1900. For example, in document 1, railroad companies in the U.S. were provided grants in order to expand the Industrial Revolution. For example, in document 2, Okubo Toshimichi states that everything within a country's success or failure can be traced back to the guidance and encouragement given by the government and its officials. It also depends on how poor or wealthy a population is from the start. The Industrial Revolution provided the discovery of new governing methods. Okubo Toshimichi was a mid-level statesman who had insight into the internal body of their government. He was trying to reach out to other similarly-classed people within his society educating them on his opinions. In addition to this evidence, document 6 shows that Mustafa Reshid Pasha believes that countries not governed by the Shari'a cannot survive. This proved to display how the Industrial Revolution caused people to think of new governing methods in order to keep production. Mustafa Reshid Pasha was an educated and high-ranking Minister who was announcing the Tanzimat reforms in 1839 to other educated
