The industrial revolution had many positive effects on society. Jobs were created by the factories, many advances in technology were made, and it even brought a country into the modern times. Without the industrial revolution society would not be what it is today. Many of our most recognizable cities would just be small towns, modern technology wouldn’t have been developed, and we wouldn’t be able to get from one place to the other in a decent amount of time. Most of us would also still be farmers.
The factories springing up caused the urban populations to skyrocket with people coming from everywhere to find a job. Many people left their farms to go work a factory job where they would be guaranteed some sort of pay for working. The cities started to

They invested money into infrastructure, regulatory systems, and communication systems. This included modern roads, a modern postal system, a banking system, and a modern school system so that they could train their workers. Although the Industrial Revolution happened by chance in other countries, this was not the case in Japan. It was Japan moving out of Feudalism. The government leaders even sent observers around the world to catch up on all the modern techniques. By the late 19th century Japan’s efforts had made them the world’s leading export of raw silk. Their efforts had also prevented them from becoming a country that was colonised and became an imperial power themselves.
The Industrial Revolution had many positive effects that definitely outweighed the bad. The rise of large cities and different movements, creating more effective ways to transport goods, and bringing countries to a new height are just a few of the results of the Industrial Revolution. If you ever start to doubt the effectiveness of the Industrial Revolution, just look around. Many of the things that we have today would not have even been thought of, much less actually
