Industrialist had a major impact on the U.S. during the Gilded Age. They increased production rapidly and efficiently. Therefore decreasing the need for labored workers. With the industries advancing in technology, and increasing the outcome of which the products are made. Labored workers lost their jobs rapidly and in abundance. People were losing jobs fast, leaving families without hope. Although not all labored workers were laid off. There was just no need for so many labored workers anymore. Due to the fact that machines could now do the work of many men, which could take anywhere from days to weeks, in a matter of minutes.
