Joy Lockett Ms. Ricks HIS 1173 01 8 March, 2016 Industrial Revolution The great era known as the Industrial Revolution was a great time period of many different changes such as agriculture, new invention of machines, transportation, and so forth. The changes occurred in the late 1700 to 1800's and gradually gotten better over time. The brink of the Industrial Revolution started in Great Britain, which providing numerous amount of resources to help expand to other countries. Their improvements in agriculture in the 1800’s let to the British people in purchasing manufacturing goods. A also, the changes in capital made it better to invest new industrial machines and factories. Britain also supplied important minerals such as coal and iron ore which were much needed in manufacturing process such as transportation(Britain, p.539). Soon, Britain would not remain the only country to experience great values in Industrialization. From Great Britain, industrialism soon spread to Europe and the United States in the 1900’s. Other countries including Belgium, France, and German states had experienced similar developments from Britain, but lacked certain advantages that made Britain who they were(Industrialization, p.541). By the time Industrialism reached the United States, they started off small with not a lot of population to start the new trend from Britain. Soon enough the United States would grow larger than Great Britain by 1860 with 30 million more people. One major growth was transportation, the U.S became a massive market for manufacturing goods. Eventually the spread of industrialism would soon reach other countries from all over the world, and would experience new changes in growth of important
