Aaron Rodgers
Do you know what quarterback that got drafted to the green bay packers in 2004 and is now ranked #6 in the country? It’s Aaron rodgers! Aaron Rodgers was born December 2nd 1983 in Chico California. Aaron grew up in his hometown of Chico California with his mom and dad. In highschool Aaron was an all pro quarterback for his high school team Pleasant valley Chico. While Aaron had fun in high school his hard work and confidence got him to be where he is now.
In highschool Aaron was a freshman at only 5’3. Being that he was 5’3 it was difficult being quarterback in high school for him because of his big line trying to see over them. He was named as an all pro passer his sophomore year of high school. When he graduated as a senior he was 5’7 and 180lbs his coach said “he was just a late bloomer”.
Aaron went to butte community college because his family didn’t have a lot of money at the time. He went to college to pursue communication but eventually majoried in american studies. It was only a two year course. But in that time he led his team to a championship and a 10-1 record. He was ranked #2 quarterback in the nation at that time. In that time the hard work and determination he put in at practice got him drafted to the Green Bay Packers.

He was a round one pick and 24th overall. He has been with the Packers 13 years in which has been his entire career. He has led them to win a super bowl over the pittsburgh steelers with a 31-25 win in 2011. That was the only super bowl he made it to so far. He is 34 years old has gotten 13 touchdowns, passed for 1385 yard, and only thrown 3 interceptions in his pro career. Aaron is now worth a total of $110 million making him the highest paid nfl player ever. In 2017 against the Minnesota Vikings Aaron took a big hit which broke his collarbone. It is said he could still come back this year but it is not determined
