You are petrified in fear. Unable to move an inch. Stuck there not knowing what to do. Urban legends are a common thing now. You hear them around a campfire, a sleepover, ect. They are stories that are passed down or told to friends. It’s like a game of telephone. After a couple people it gets messed up and it changes. In urban legends fear of safe places and very common. Alligators in the sewers aren’t particularly scary. Even though there it’s not necessarily scary there is a fear. The fear of safe places. The story behind this legend is a lot of people have exotic pets. When it gets too hard to take care of the animal like an alligator or a python they release it. Instead of releasing an alligator into the wild someone decide let’s flush it down the loo. When they flushed it it lived down there for the rest of its life. The reason for that is because you wouldn’t think that a alligator was living under your feet in the sewers. Some people think that one is just going to pop out of the sewer and eat someone.
