Amelia Earhart was the first woman to fly across the Atlantic. She is very brave because she was the first female aviatrix but besides that, she was brave for being herself, and she wasn’t afraid to risk her life for the thing she loves. By being the first women aviatrix, she had to push through a lot of hate. Many didn’t think it was right for women to do a “man’s work” or even fly a plane until the 1960’s, but Amelia didn’t let the negative things bring her down.
