In spite of everything I still believe that people are really good at heart. I simply cannot build my hopes up on a foundation consisting of confusion, misery, and death. On and 13th birthday she received a very special gift that she treasured throughout the war and her life it was her diary this was days before the Germans invaded. Soon after the German invasion and sister received a work call telling her she must report to be assigned work but the family really knew that Margo would be sent to a concentration camp. Once the family realize they were in danger and father Auto move the family into a Secret Annex that he had previously arranged, his workers help them hide throughout the war so till xur location was given away. The family was hiding with others and when they were caught they were sent to a Transit camp or they were further split up.
