One of the schools I am highly interested in working is Horizon Science Academy in Dayton Downtown. Horizon school is a public charter school serving 224 students from Kindergarten through eighth grades managing by Concept Schools. Concept Schools is knowing as a nonprofit charter management organization which provides a high-quality, STEM and college-preparatory education for every student, as well as offering exceptional programs and comprehensive services to be successful in education. HSA opened a new elementary school in 2011 in Dayton Downtown, 121 S Monmouth St, Dayton, OH 45403.

Information I found from National Government website from 2015-2016 years stated that, 39% of all students at Horizon Science Academy Dayton Downtown are considered to have limited English proficiency, which is much higher than the median across all reported elementary schools in Ohio. Based on the Dayton Daily News website in 2010 Horizon Science Academy Dayton High School was ranked as “Most Outstanding School” at the Math Olympics. Horizon Science Academy offering lots of after-school programs to provide opportunities beyond academics. IMP Mentorship Program which is designed to prepare selective students to top colleges. HSA high expectations from students, teacher, and parents result in high level of student’s achievements. The culture they have built into their schools with all nationalities, races, economic background and scholastic levels manifest confidence. Small size classrooms provide physically and emotionally better environment and education.
