Although it works because it is a cycle the more you your favorite athlete advertises the more you buy and that's more and more money in their pocket but it also means more and more great ideas will be waiting to advertise. Technology also can change sports by the clothing of it like there was talk on ESPN about new 3D jerseys so they would me more attractive to fans and for the players because it makes the player look better and it makes the fans look more stylish with any type of jersey. Also now in sports they use technology to breakdown players pros and cons on what they should work on and what they are good at and for magazines since you can not put videos in there photographers put pictures in there that are really cool to see.
