The Masque of the Red Death In “The Masque of the Red Death” by Edgar Allan Poe, Poe uses imagery and symbolism to create an allegory that communicates to the reader that the town has been struck by an epidemic of a deadly disease that seems to be incurable. The background of this story is that their is a disease that is killing a lot of people and some of the people that are still alive go to Prince Prospero’s house for a party that they are still alive. They are all having fun then the clock strikes and everyone stops dancing, when it stops they all start dancing again. The clock is a very important symbol of imagery in this story.
In times such as now, immigration policy is a topic of controversial and emotional discussion. The key in having educational, progressive, and prosperous conversations is understanding the theoretical foundations behind the argument that a person stands for or believes in. Having factual evidence to support ideas on concepts such as: the opportunities that immigrants bring to a country, what the international rules actually are that govern the entry and exit of people from one country to another, and the causes, trends, and consequences of international immigration. Finding reason and support for these claims can take the discussion behind immigration policy from one of heated and emotional argument to one of educational and beneficial conversation.
III. Achieved Identity of Undocumented Immigrants The achieved identity of an individual is the way in which one feels about his or herself. The way in which one understands his or her belonging. For the case of many undocumented immigrants, their identities vary depending on the time that they have spent living in the U.S.

But, because of the us government they can’t have this experience some get this experience but they still have to be very careful. They all also fear because some of them have kids then they fear for themselves and then there kids because it’s their family. Do you want to live in a community where you see mexican and people on the streets because of crossing the border. This is why i think that the government shouldn’t deport undocumented immigrants because then they don't get a chance to have an american experience.
In the society that we live in, it is very easy for an American citizen to say that illegal immigrants should automatically be deported. I am not in any way claiming that every American is supporting the idea that it is right to deport any and every illegal immigrant. If people were to put themselves in the position of the woman with three young kids, a sick husband, and a low paying job I am almost certain they would change their perspective on whether or not every immigrant should be deported. With everything that has happened with the presidential election and all the big talk on deportation of illegal immigrants take a second to truly understand what is happening around you. I am not here to tell you that you are wrong for believing in the fact that illegal immigrants should be deported.

Therefore, political participation in the American government, a democracy, is the best way to be the change you want to see in your community and in your country. One small yet important and effective way to do this is by contacting your government and voicing your opinions, and when I wanted to raise the issue of immigration reform for the DACA recipients, I researched the issue, wrote a letter, and sent it.

I recently discovered that President Trump is trying to end DACA plan. DACA or Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals was initiated by Obama to helps undocumented immigrants traveling with children and allows their kids to stay in the United State to study, work, and they may obtain legal identifications. Now, President Trump decided to end DACA.
Due to the large income of unskilled workers has allowed employers to give out low wages and actually allow there to be horrible working conditions. There seems to be a solution to this. By reducing low-skill immigration, we can strengthen the labor market and as well as increase wages along with them for the American people. I 'm sure we 're all familiar with the term “illegal immigration”. We’re always told about how bad it is. Don 't get me wrong, it is bad but it 's not done with the intention of hurting someone else but to try and change their future.
Not every immigrant get into the country using the legal means. There are those who get into the country on student visas and start working contrary to the visas they hold. There are others who get into the country illegally with no genuine United States visa. The immigration Reform and Control Act of 1986 focusses on the matter of illegal immigration through placing major fines on the employers of those immigrants who hire them. The Illegal Immigration Reform and Immigrant Responsibility Act of 1996 allowed a number of barriers to immigration.

There are multiple types of visas, depending on the purpose why one wants to move to the United States, such an employment, family, refugee, immigration, and marriage visa. My father first applied here as an immigrant, and when he arrived in the United States, my mother applied for a marriage visa to join my father to start their new lives together. They both went to the United Nations office in Baghdad, Iraq, a complicated six-hour drive from Slemani, Kurdistan to proceed with the preliminary steps.
