Hello, I am the number one girl’s tennis player at Pinellas Park High School and I would like to inform you about what had happen on March 9, 2017, against a match at Lakewood High School. In the beginning of my singles match I was up by 4-0 and my opponent became to act aggravated with herself, until her coach stood by the fence to watch our match. He would then have a long chat with her in a quietly manner as if he was coaching her because I had over heard some of the words that he was telling my opponent on where to hit on the court and where I am weak at, when I was getting my drink of water in between games, in which my opponent and I switch sides on every odds. Although my coach was also on the sideline watching my match she did not coach me about play my opponent, but encourage me to be consistent and to keep playing on how I was playing. …show more content…
However, when he was watching my match he did not say anything to his player when he saw his player called my ball “out”, even though it was on line and in the end I lost by 7-9. When it was time to play my doubles match, my partner and I was up by 4-0 against the number one girls double at Lakewood. Right when I called a ball that was clearly out in my perspective; I heard a scream by the fence “Come on!!!!!! You got to be kidding me!!! YOU have done this the entire match!” in which at first I thought he was yelling to the girl who he had to watched line for, until I noticed that he was yelling at me. I found that to be very unprofessional as a high school tennis coach to set an example on how he should lead his team. The other players on the team would also screamed like him, in which my coach and I found that very inappropriate because what say does the coach have in a match between the two schools to be calling the ball out. Even his number one doubles girls did not even question if the ball was
