The disease was originally was detected in Southern and Western parts of Africa, but now has spread too many different places. This allows the virus free roam through the body and also free will to replicate very quickly. The hemorrhaging (bleeding) is caused by the disease’s ability to make immune cells called Macrophages, release proteins which clots blood vessels and blood supplies for organs. This damages the linings of the blood vessels causing the hemorrhaging.
