In modern day it is seen as a beacon of equal opportunity for everyone, everywhere. Our belief in the American Dream is shown in history, in modern day, and in our culture, generation and beliefs of the current day. The immigrants that fled other countries for religious freedom and opportunity believed that America would provide them with freedom and opportunity. Without them, we may never have the equality we have today. Many people in the modern day still believe in the American Dream. Me, my partner, and millions of other gun lovin’, burger eatin’, freedom usin’, flag flyin’, and hard workin’ people believe in it. You may not believe it, but you can’t deny that the reason why we are the greatest country in the world is because of the beliefs that the Americans of the past held, no matter their physical appearance or country of origin. My partner and I believe that the American dream is more, more than just one person's dreams, but a country of people that believe and dream of a better world for all.
