The Lincoln Memorial is the largest memorial because of its’ features. Inside this beautiful monument is 12 feet of bronze covered in magnificent White Georgia Marble, that is another 7 feet. In all, the Lincoln Memorial is 19 feet tall. If you look at Lincoln’s hands he is making the letter A in sign language. In other words, he is making a fist with his thumb in line with his index finger. Who would have thought Abraham Lincoln knew sign language

The Lincoln Memorial is the 3rd most visited memorial in the United States. Some people think it would cost a fortune to get into the Lincoln Memorial, but truly it won’t cost you a penny. If you don’t want to be in those crazy mobs of people and want your trip to be romantic, the memorial is open 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Although, the memorial does has rules. The Lincoln Memorial is a wonderful place to visit, especially with the family. It’s educational and interesting all at the same time! There are multiple different tours you can take: On foot tour, Mobile tour, Guided tour, and there is an app that will give you the facts as you visit each spot. The Lincoln Memorial is very family friendly!
