Drug Testing It’s crazy how 90% of olympians use performance enhancing drugs.Athletes are drug tested to see whether or not they are cheating. These tests for professional athletes depending on the player happens every 3-12 months. If they are caught cheating they could be suspended or another punishment. It is whatever the commissioner of that sports organization decide. Professional athletes should be drug tested because it is unfair and cheating, the health risk the athlete is taking and having them get help, and it is bad sportsmanship.

Using roids or other drugs is bad sportsmanship. It is bad sportsmanship if you are cheating to enhance your own play. It’s not being a good teammate or friend. It describes that“Ultimately, doping is a confidence-killer. It moves athletics from a skills field into a pharmacological one. The spoils go to the guy who figures out the best mixture of enhancements and how to get away with it. It takes sportsmanship out of sports.” (Collins 1). This shows that doping takes all ethics and sportsmanship out of sports because it leads to low levels of confidence for the athlete and the opposing team athletes.The article describes “Sports again belong in the domain of "if you work hard enough and you want it bad enough, you can do great things."( Collins1).
