Volleyball
I am not going to argue that this is the best sport because this is supposed to be informative essay not argumentative essay, but I will say it is a much better sport than most. Volleyball is a great sport and is very fun, it teaches the importance of teamwork and getting along with others to create chemistry. I will be explaining the sport because often times it is perceived at just whacking a ball across a net and that is not quite right. It is actually a lot more complicated as you get to a higher level. I am not any sort of expert but I have been playing for a while (in Volleyball years) it's not like soccer where you start playing when your like 4 years old. In Volleyball you can start playing when your like 10. That however was not an option when I was 10, you could start when you were 12 so I have been playing for 4 years. The libero is the main passer on the team and their base in middle back row, they specialize in digging the deep hard hits. The outside hitter plays both front and back row in the front row they stand on the left side and their job is to hit the ball that is set to them, in the back row their base is left back. They pass and dig up the short balls that land behind the 10 foot line. The next position is middle blocker, their base is in the middle on the front row, they hit but they are also the main blocker on the team. There's also a setter and a right side they both stand on the right side of the front row, the setters job is to take the second ball and set it up for one of the hitters to attack. The right sides job is to either cover the line back row or to swing at a set. I love volleyball all the valuable lessons it has taught me, especially dedication because it is a full time sport and it takes a lot of time and energy.
