HItler was a very cruel and evil man that caused many people pain. Hitler wanted to gain power once he was elected chancellor. He was rude and did gain power. But his gain of power brought suffering to people he called, “undesirables.”

Hitler was elected chancellor and became more powerful. “ … Hitler used the fire that destroyed the Reich-stag, the parliament building in Berlin, as an excuse to declare a state of emergency and suspend democratic protections such as freedom of speech.” (16, Smith). In other words, the article stated that Hitler used the fire in his advantage to decrease the amount of freedom that people had. Therefore Hitler used an excuse to get him to rage in more power. Furthermore, Hitler used the fire that destroyed the Reich-stag for his own self and used it as an excuse to declare a state of emergency, which lead to him gaining more power.

Hitler used his great power for his evil actions. For example like getting rid of all Jews and unwanted. “ Within months,

Hitler used his great power for no good reasons.
