Thesis Statement: Ice cream is one of the world most favorite foods and is very popular in America.
Introduction
I. (Attention Getter) How many of you have ice cream in the freezers? According to ice cream.com “87 percent of American, have ice cream in their freezers at any given time”.
II. (Credibility Statement) Ice cream is definitely one of my favorite dessert and I enjoy many of the flavors that are offered today.
III. (Audience Relevance) “California, produces the most ice cream in America”, icecream.com.
III. (Preview Points) Ice cream, today has so many flavors, but how did ice cream get to be ice cream? Where did the idea come from and how did it get to America?

I feel that emperor Nero ice cream was more of a shaved ice and king tang was actually ice cream because of the milk addition to the ice.

Luckily, in the 1840s a woman by the name Nancy Johnson patented her hand cranked freezers and still today her method is still used. According to almanac.com “Baltimore dairyman Jacob Fussell opened the first commercial ice cream factory in 1851. Business boomed, and Fussell became the father of the wholesale ice cream
