Informative Speech On American Flags

There are many flags around the world and the one flag that iconic is the American flag. The flag had many phases before it became the flag we all know and love today. The 13 stripes of the American flag represent the 13 colonies that declared independence from the British and the 50 stars represent the 50 state of the United States. The flag is the statement of freedom from the British rule and it symbolizes the American value. I will be sharing to you guys the flag I have been working on for my island and I hope you guys can relate to this since we are all working on something similar. It also contains two black line that goes across it and it’s shaded in with the colors black. Form top and bottom there’s 4 fins that reflect each other and it is in the color blue and form each end of the black shaded line has two triangles that's shaded in with the color red. The 4 fins represent the four of us in the group and the yellow star represent unity. The two black shaded lines represent our determination and as for the two triangle it represent the drive on being successful. Finally the white background represent purity and peace in our island. I kept the design and colorways simple so it can be easy to remember and we can add more to our flag throughout

Flag have evolved throughout time and we still use them today to represent or symbolize a country and for its people. An example is the American flag the stripes represent the 13 colonies and the fifty stars represent the fifty States we have today. Our flag basically represent determination and hope and it symbolizes our island and the people and also gives out hope to the people. We can use the flag as a role model to not end up in the “Lord of The Flies’ and have a utopian society where we all work together as one.
