Or have found yourself tapping your foot or hand to the beat of the music? Music is one of mankind’s greatest inventions and has brought about a lot of change throughout the world. B. Reason to Listen: Many people know how to play instruments and I’m proud to say I am one of them. But drumming is a lot more to me than just hitting cymbals and being loud. These drumsticks were the first pair I ever used to bang on the drums and the more wear and tear they got, the more special they became to me. 1. The more marks and dents I get on these drumsticks, the more it reminds me to work harder and push my limits to create rhythm. 2. Even though I’ve broke one of these sticks, I keep them around to look at and remind myself to be the best you can and to keep learning to be a better drummer. Transition: Now that I’ve told you about these drumsticks, I am now going to describe how I put them to use in my passion for drumming. B. Ever since I can remember, when I ever I listened to a song I would always tap my feet or hands to the beat but when I applied it to a drum set, I fell in love. 1. Not only did I fall in love with the art of drumming but I also discovered how much sound is put into one song, now I analyze music deeply and try to pick out every little note or beat. 2. Something about the energy of hitting cymbals and making noise really clears my head and makes me happy, the ability to create music is indescribable.
