The anniversary of Prince’s death on April 21 will be celebrated just like the way the beloved musician lived his life, wild and filled with music. An announcement has been made that in honor of his memory, a festival will be held at Prince’s estate, Paisley Park. The festival will be four days and is being called Celebration. The performers list is full of music legends and people who Prince surrounded himself with. Morris Day and the Time, The Revolution, 3RDEYEGIRL and more are scheduled to perform at the festival, reports the Los Angeles Times. He was one of the most beloved and respected artists in the world, reports The New York Daily News. Prince had his one-of-a-kind estate, Paisley Park, built in 1985. The massive estate is in Chanhassen, MN. The self-contained compound is over 55,000 square feet and cost $10 million to build. It was designed by architect Bret Theony. The unique estate includes two recording studios, a large performance center, a dance studio, offices and living accommodations that Prince called home. Tragically Paisley Park is also where Prince died. Prince used Paisley Park to film his movies, record his music and store his huge collection of costumes. Today, Paisley Park has been transformed into a museum where fans can see the estate exactly as it was when Prince called it home. One of the most popular attractions inside of Paisley Park is the Purple Rain room, reports Access Hollywood. Prince's estate will also open a series of Paisley Park After Dark dance parties and movie nights. Tickets to those events are $60.
