Speech title: How to make an inexpensive Sabika bracelet
Intended Audience: College student 's that are extra cautious with spending money. They want to give a meaningful gift while staying on budget.
Introduction:
I. Attention Grabber: This past Valentine’s Day the National Retail Federation expected 4.7 billion was spent on jewelry alone.
II. Listener Relevance: How many of you have girlfriends? Have you ever bought/ thought of buying a piece of jewelry for her at the store? Why not? Cause it 's expensive!
III. Background: Brands like Sabika are unaffordable for the average college student. Making jewelry is a great way to give a heartfelt meaningful gift while staying on budget.
IV. Speaker Credibility: I have saved over $500 by making jewelry for Christmas and birthday gifts for my family and friends. I have gained knowledge from individuals who make their income by selling and making jewelry. In addition, I’ve made hundreds of dollars by selling pieces to coworkers.
V. Thesis Statement: Today I am going to take you through the step by step process of making a bracelet.
Body:
I. Understanding sizing and cut
A. Chatons are pointed back crystals that have a specific sizing chart. Their sizing begins with a number followed by pp (pearl plate) or ss (sized stone) to indicate size (millimeters).
B. Sizing starts at pp (pearl plate) for the smallest and goes up to ss (sized stone). The higher the ss
