Informative Speech Self Evaluation 1.What did you do well in your informative presentation? Be specific. Use examples from your speech. I have learned several things that I need to improve for upcoming speeches. I made many mistakes in my previous speech. I did not use much transitions for my last speech. I have used more transitions in my informative presentation. For example, first, second, third, certainly, of course, finally, and so on. I will make sure that I do not use articulations while speaking. I will try to maintain eye contact with the audience, so it will help me to get audience attention. I get anxious, and sometimes I jump from one topic to another. I need to maintain eye contact with the audience instead of looking at my notes. I will make sure to finish my presentation within time. It is important to complete a speech within time because my points were deducted in my previous speech (over time– 6.25 minutes). I should limit the use of articulations in my speech/ presentation. 3.Choose one aspect of your presentation and tell me how you will work to improve it for your next presentation. Be concrete. Offer suggestions that you will use for improvement. I always get anxious before giving any speech or presentation. I may not maintain eye contact with the audience to cop up with my anxiety. I will practice more to gain confidence before giving any speech. It will help me to deliver any speech with more confidence and less stress. Practicing in front of the mirror is one of the ways that helps me to reduce my stress level. Thus, I will remember to look at the audience while speaking instead of looking down in the notes.
