The wooden planks creaked with each stride. Every door slammed shut as in accordance to the beat of its conductor. Draped curtains flailed uncontrollably atop the windows throughout the house which seemed to shake with every gasp of air. Never before was there any intimation to a presence, a ghostly figure. However, today, it now became clear, that this was not a home for the living, but a resting mansion for the already deceased. Gradually, each spirit revealed themselves, some lacking the transparent marking of a ghost, but resembling that of a zombie. During the span of one’s life, each individual will perform countless endeavors that are incongruous to the morals of their culture, or society. In other words, at some point in an individual’s life, he or she will say or do something that is considered wrong, or unjust. Nevertheless, not everyone is a monstrous being. The divider between an average citizen and a monster begins with the repetition of ones wrongdoings. When a creature continues to execute their wicked actions without sensing the tragedy that has developed as a result of their misconduct, then the cruelty is considered monstrous. In 2012 at a local movie theater in Aurora, Colorado, 24 year old James Holmes, with an average gun, led a massacre that concluded with “12 dead and 59 injured” (). From this, it can be inferred that more than one shot was fired, hence repetition took place. This recurrence means that instead of realizing the calamity that occurred, James Holmes sought to create even more destruction. However, not only were the victims and their families affected by the attack, regular civilians became very precaution and tentative to even enter a theater following the massacre. That being said, cinema’s revenue would diminish with less sales being produced, therefore, its employees would face difficulties, for as expenses and budget cuts would be revaluated.
