Injustice is a common enemy to mankind, for we all demand to be treated fairly. However, Pakistan stands out above all. This is the injustice in school. While schools may claim to be pro-equality, educational injustice was experienced by an elder, Brett Fallon, as well as Malala. While injustice is a severe problem faced in school it should not get in your way of success.

Not only was Malala shamed, but her family was as well. For instance, “Sufi Mohammad proclaimed there should be no education for women even at girls' madrasas. 'If someone can show any example in history where Islam allows a female madrasa, they can come and piss on my beard” (Malala Yousafzai and Christina Lamb, I am Malala; The Girl Who Stood Up for Education and Was Shot by the Taliban (New York, Boston, London: Back Boy Books, 2013), 118). There was even a teacher at her dad’s school that refused to teach girls and the other teachers wanted him to stay. Although, Malala and her family were looked down upon, Malala never let this crude injustice interfere with her success.

Another instance in which Malala was unjustly punished was when she was shot. Malala. The one who held nonviolent protests and gave more thought to the poor than her own well being. She was on a bus one day riding to school and the Taliban falsely told the driver they had to relay information to the children. She was only shot due to her strong fervor for equality. Yet, her clear conscience had not been diminished, nor did she hold a grudge, once again proving that injustice does not have to interfere with success despite the fears it may provide along the
