The innocence of Sacco-Vanzetti Sacco And Vanzetti were accused of a murder they did not take part in. Sacco and Vanzetti were both Italian Immigrants. They both were charged with the murder of 2 paymasters. The jury and the judge were both against Sacco-Vanzetti because the victims were described as 2 italian immigrants that’s what made the case more sad. What made it more sadder, they were both put to death Sacco was an italian immigrant and also a shoe worker in America at the time. He was found guilty in a Massachusetts murder case. Vanzetti was also found guilty in the Massachusetts murder case with Sacco. Vanzetti was an fish peddler in America. On April 15th, 1920. A paymaster and his guard were killed by 2 men armed with pistols.(1) Those 2 men then stole over $15,000, and hopped in a car and drove of in a high-speed chase.
