Power is a trait that may drive people to pure insanity in pursuit of the things they may desire. Power is a unseeable force that can take control of people’s minds in order to achieve ultimate greatness. Sometimes it can be uncontrollable once it is contained, and may drive people to do things not foreseeably called for or humane. Throughout the novel, Richard, from the novel Richard lll by William Shakespeare, brings death upon many and deceives plentiful amount of people just to be given the spot as supreme ruler of the Kingdom. He lies and manipulates to Clarence saying someone else was the snitch who put Clarence in Jail when in actuality it was Richard the whole time! His deceiving skills are superb to the point where the accuser seems to be getting accused of by Richard. Richard deceives Clarence in saying how he, Richard was not the snitch of Clarence, Brackenbury of course believes it was not him
