Insanity In 'The Tell-Tale Heart'

In the story the, The Tell Tale Heart, the narrator goes through the story telling us he is not insane. However, there is plenty of evidence showing otherwise. It is this evidence that has led me to believe that he is not guilty by reason of insanity and should be put in a mental hospital. We can assume this because of three factors found in the story. This story tells us a lot about the author’s personality. We’ll talk about that later. My first evidence is that he’s wise and nervous.
