As revenge continuously happens, this is a start of war. Insurgent is the second book of Divergent series which refers to the journey of Tris or also known as Beatrice Prior and Four with her companion as she continuously fights for her faction and sacrifice anything as she brings the guilt to her parents and to killing her friend, Will. It refers to the power between the five factions which left with two, Erudite and Dauntless with an alliance to attack Abnegation. Tris and Four with their companions have sought for help from the two remaining factions which are Amity and Candor. Unfortunately their safety is difficult to find. Aside from the taught that Tris and Four are part of Dauntless, they are also known as one of the Divergent people, who have traits from more than one faction. The polished and gripped writing style of Veronica Roth keeps the flow of the story ripping along at an unpredictable and unbelievable speed. Her style of prose is unique, utilitarian and plain like it describes the world. In short, she uses a formal style of writing as she considers which suites her readers. Some are wishing they could fit their style to the genre they would like yet they always fail. But her style works well for her genre which science fiction and romance. The only occasionally causative element in Insurgent was the relationship between Tris and Tobias that always features complicated tensions to make the conflict of the story more crucial. However, the novel was amazing and spectacular because of so much narrative twists which keep anyone enjoy it. Insurgent’s structure could be her best strength in this novel collection series as Beatrice Prior have her journey among the different factions and the factionless with the skill belongs to the three factions which are Erudite, Abnegation and Dauntless. The implication of the theme was being that humans are more complex than having social groups where people try to put themselves. It also presents the Divergent which is artfully executed. The concepts were well defined and could understand easily as well as the language she uses. The author also uses a first point view which provides only one side but it considers the
