Murder in the first degree comes in 4 different varieties. Intentional murder; a killing that resulted from intent to do serious bodily injury to another; a killing that resulted from a depraved heart or extreme recklessness; or murder committed by an accomplice during the attempt. When a murder is committed, a person must have intent to cause the death of another person other than himself or the death of another person and also have a premeditated mindset. Murder has been considered the most serious type of crime in every society across the world and the types of punishments that are given are of the harshest.
