Everyone desires being successful and living a life full of happiness. In my own definition, there are many factors that play a role in being successful. Taking on opportunities and challenges, and having academic excellence is what I desire most in my life. The school I am currently attending is fairly small and there are very little opportunities there. I long to seek for more opportunities and involvements, to enhance my skills, thus becoming more successful. Leadership is a skill I greatly take in for consideration in strengthening my confidence. I have a big desire in natural sciences and I’m aware of what the university has to offer. With further interest, I want to take part of the research and outreach programs such as CAE (Center for Academic Excellence) and URS (Undergraduate Research Scholars), that will assist and advise me to be successful at UW-Madison. Looking more into the department of Science, a course that caught my attention is (Inter-L&S 210) L&S Career Development: Taking Initiative Course.
