How an interview changed my life.
My life had been going on within my family, which is my horizon and the origin of my experiences, ideas and expectations. But in November of 1990 something happened that for which I was not prepared that I changed my life and the life of my family forever. I believe the Lord know us very well and give us the opportunity to learn by extending priesthood calling by his servants.
It was in November 1990 and I was serving as a counselor in the presidency of the Santo Domingo mission, I was happy to serve in this new calling, I had to travel, meet, train, teach, minister and bless members of the mission units.

First. The President of the Quorum of the Twelve Apostles designates a General Authority of the First or Second Quorum of the Seventy which is normally accompanied by an Area Seventy to fulfill the deed found in 2 Corinthians 13: 1 In The mouth of two or three witnesses shall every word be established.
2. Second. Stake presidents to be relieved together with the stake secretary prepare a list of all the brethren within the stake who may be interviewed by the two servants of the Lord and the spirit let them know who the new Stake president.
3. Third. After well organize, the interview process of the candidates start and they spend about 15 or 20 minutes with every one of the candidate and all process will take approximately 4 or 5 hours.
Now back to what happened in November 1990, I had heard about the interviews that were going to be held to call the new stake president but since I was happy working on a mission I did not care about that process.
On Friday, November 18, 1990 the whole family went to the movies and then to eat us a pizza, we returned home about 11:00 PM and I found in the recorder machine a phone call from the Mission President inviting me to have an interview with the General Authorities I felt that something would happen in my life, and my heart almost
