Interviews & Statements On Monday, May 5, 2014 at approximately 1:35pm I obtained the following statement from the complainant patient Robert Lopez of room 227B located in the Greenberg Pavilion 8-Central. Mr. Lopez stated that on Saturday, May 3, 2014 around 6 or 7pm he placed the listed items inside his night gown. On the following day the items was missing. At first he figured it was accidently taken with the dirty linen but then he received a call from the credit card company informing him of the unusual charges. Mr. Lopez said the first charge was done at a Target store located on 116th street the second at a 7-Eleven in New Jersey. I advised him to cancel his cards and file a police report. I provided him with my contact information and requested he provides me with a copy of the charges made …show more content…
No other suspicious person was observed on video. Target I called the Target store located at 517 E 117th Street, New York, NY 10035-4410 phone number (212) 835-0860 and requested to speak to a manager. I was transferred to the Lost Prevention department I asked if they had video recordings of a transaction that took place at their store with a stolen credit card. They informed me that they have recordings but they cannot provide me with any information unless I am a law enforcement officer with a subpoena. I requested they save it and that someone from the 19th Precinct will contact them regarding the video. NYPD I called the 19th Precinct Detective Squad and spoke to Det. Libassi and informed him of the case. He indicated a no one has filed a 61 (Police Report) with the name Robert Lopez. Without a report they cannot conduct an
