All of comedy have playing with love and joke that the end of story will get married and everybody in the story will be happy. A Midsummer Night’s Dream tells the love of adolescent who are forced to get married so they flee into the forest that is filled with fairies. The magic of fairies make each pair alternate. In the end of the story, everybody comes out of the forest and get married all three pairs. However, there are some scholars recommend that A Midsummer Night’s Dream looks like tragedy story more than comedy. Although some critic told that it was true that in the end of the story had marriage. The first is all pairs get married in the end of story which follow in comedy of Shakespeare. In fact, love of Demetrius is not true love. Demetrius remain kept the consequence of the magic (Epstein, 1993, P.113). Although Demetrius get married and happy with Helena, but Demetrius does not love Helena at the beginning. King Oberon commanded Puck who was henchman to make, Demetrius fall in love Helena. On the other hand, Demetrius is pitied because Demetrius married to Helena without true love. Although they end with marriage, but it looks like tragedy more than comedy. Finally, Marriage is main feature of comedy, but everyone should be happy in the end of the story. In A Midsummer Night's Dream is not happy ending story because Hermia's father disfavors and he is unhappy that his daughter get married with Lysander. Marriage of Hermia and Lysander are dissented by Hermia's father. (Belsey, 1993, P.187). In wedding scene, Hermia's father is not satisfy and acts inappropriately. He gets up from the table and doesn't speak to anybody because of his disappointment that Hermia doesn't get married with Demetrius.
