In the play Cyrano De Bergerac there is a complicated love triangle between Cyrano, Roxanne and Christian. Cyrano, who can be described as a nobleman, poet and wise. Is notably known for his physical appearance,which is his big nose, thus this leads to Cyrano to be self-conscious of his appearance,which leads to him being doubtful and hesitant to a romantic relationship. Roxanne, who is a distant cousin of Cyrano, is also a beautiful person as described in the play. Christian, who is described in the play as a handsome man, however lacks in expressing love in a romantic way, which led to him also being doubtful to declare his love to Roxanne.
