There are many traits possessed by those called heroes. Whether it is in real life or in fiction, in the past, present, and future every hero desires these character: traits intelligence, bravery, and honesty. “Montag picked a single small volume from the floor. Where do we begin? He opened the book halfway and peered at it.
“Don’t lose hope… Have faith in life, a thousand times fate… Help each other. That is the only way to survive.” This is a specific quote relating how hope progressed
A hero could be anyone. Heroes don’t have to shoot lasers or be able to fly. A hero could be someone who simply shows a great act or certain character trait like bravery or courage. Heroes go through a journey containing a call to adventure, a departure and a return to their homeland. A good example of heroism and heroic acts is David from the Chrysalids and Daniel from The Dangerous Days of Daniel X. David and Daniel experienced sacrifice, hardships and bravery through their journeys of becoming a hero.
Hope can help people through the darkest of times, and give them a goal for which to
Hope is a feeling inside you that makes feel like you can do anything. When you have that feeling you set yourself up for success and it makes you want to live life like a fairytale. The war started at Valley Forge, George Washington made an army that he had hoped for. Then the British came and forced war over them. “The harder the conflict, the more glorious the triumph.”
When the word hero is spoken, many may immediately think of a character like Superman. Superman can fly and has extreme strength, allowing him to help his city. What truly makes Superman a hero is how he puts these skills to use with his outstanding personality qualities. Odysseus, from the Odyssey, also has overlapping traits of a hero. He is not gifted with supernatural capabilities but still put in an effort to help his men and community.
Hope can consist of staying positive even through the most calamitous of times, remembering some of your precious memories, and even waiting patiently for good outcomes. Having hope can help you overcome obstacles that you may have thought were unfeasible to surpass. There may be times where hope seems out of your grasps. Yo may even start feeling like there is no point in having hope, but a positive attitude can help a tremendous amount when handling conflict. Having something taken from your grasps makes you want to fight for it, but waiting patiently and having hope can also get the lost item back.
A hero can be classified by many things. A hero can be superman, a police officer, and even your mom, but what makes a hero? Is it someone who can fly or shoot laser beams from their eyes or someone who saves a baby from a burning building? I’ll admit some of these characteristics are far-fetched since I don’t know anyone who can fly or randomly saves babies on a normal day. All heroes, including super ones, all have something in common, they 're admired for their courage or an outstanding thing they’ve done.
Heroes are not as capable as they appear. Most would believe that a hero could do anything, but most of them only accomplish their goals with the help of someone else. Harry Potter got through roughly seven years of torment because of the caring Ron Weasley and the brilliant Hermione Granger. Steve Rogers may have ended up bruised and battered in an alleyway in Brooklyn without the help of Bucky Barnes. Heroes are only able to accomplish their greatest feats because people always had their backs.
The word “Hope” originated around 900 A.D. and defines as, “a feeling of expectation and desire for a certain thing to happen.” When asked, high school students described hope as a new beginning or a light at the end of the tunnel. The “light at the end of the tunnel” varies among who is asked. For high school seniors it could possibly be graduation; for a struggling family it could be a paycheck at the end of the week; for a sick and hurting patient, it could be the top of the hour when their medicine is readily available. Hope comes in different forms.
All stories have important conflicts, but not all stories have three essential conflicts. In “The Most Dangerous Game” by Richard Connell, Sanger Rainsford faces many conflicts. Such as Man vs. Man. This is necessary to the plot of the story. Man vs. Nature, another substantial plot line which Rainsford must face.
Hope can be a driving force in our lives. It can pick up the phone to call that one girl back for a second date. It can move our fingers to type the first few words of a novel. It can push us to do more and be more than we ever thought we could be. On the other hand, hope can be like an opiate.
People want to believe that they will survive no matter what and having hope helps with that. These quotes are good examples of hope pushing people till the end. From the quotes, Hope has proven to be a splendid tool to help those in need. Hope can help people through the toughest challenges in life.
Doing a brave task, being a doctor, being a rich person, or even having a certain name does not make you a hero. It is very hard to describe a hero but a simple description of a true hero is a person that is being true to himself, does things that has to be done no matter what the circumstances are, never afraid to do what is right, and gives the best sincerely. In my point of view, true heroes exist in our world, and they are needed to protect us from the society we are living in and ourselves. Many people regularly ask why we need heroes. Simply the answer is that heroes give us hope, solve problems, and pick us up when we are down.
