Tiger Woods has been No. 1 in the world for 623 weeks in his profession. and also The women's rankings system, which is separate from the men's, was formed in 1996. That year, golfer Annika Sörenstam was named the first female No. 1 in the world if it wasn't a sport it wouldn't have a ranking system.
